DESIGNER

Emanuela Conte was just nine when she first stitched a dress made with some dishcloths found in the kitchen.

She got her diploma from the Language High School in her hometown, Lecce (South of Italy), then she decided to rely on the professionalism and experience of the Fashion Master Pino Cordella, running a tailoring business since 1783. Emanuela attended Institute Cordella classes for two years, until she was awarded with the Degree in Fashion Design with particular specialisation in Womenswear. Her collections have, in a short time, furrowed important catwalks, such as Bucharest Fashion Week, Vogue Fashion Night and especially AltaRoma, where she presented an autobiographical collection to celebrate her first steps in the Haute Couture business.

Spreading the “Made in Italy” lifestyle all over the world is Emanuela’s big deal, through the promotion of the hand made production as a label of distinctiveness and originality. Her clothes are entirely handmade following the rules of the Italian Old School Sewing Art.

Tenacity, passion and cap in hand are the key points of her daily work. A real philosophy of life, which she proudly transmits to all her staff.
